Dear Parent,
Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) sing across a typical vocal range known as one octave and (ii) control their volume and breath as they do so in one go.
Avishka has sug the second part of the song a little differently and made up her own tune, hence she didnt land in one place as she should have. She is using her voice well and singing confidently.

Understanding of the concept or exercise – good
Singing/ Pitching – good, needs some work*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: Just notice how Tootly sings ‘sky-y’ and not sky and ‘hi-gh’ and not just high..listen carefully and try to copy it exactly. And also listen a couple of times to the second line so you get it exactly 🙂
