I see you’ve sung well but always remember that during recordings, dont sing WITH Tootly. Either listen and repeat and/or sing on your own. This is important as this is a performance and you need to be able to hear yourself when singing, to be able to sing clearly and confidently.

This is a vocal exercise that every beginner student of classical music learns. Once the first stage of expanding the voice range, getting stability while singing, and being able to sing with ease in one direction (up or down) is achieved, students move on to exercises created by recurring patterns like these. Think of them like training exercises for their voices.
In this particular song, we are checking a few things: if students can manoeuvre the zig zag melody well, reach the correct highest point of the melody, and land back correctly at the starting point after completing the song.

Notes: dear Parent – please take note of our request above to sing separately. As you can see, since Ahi is focusing on tootly as well as her own performance, it sounds a bit tentative/ mumbly at places. Absolutely no issues if she needs help with lyrics or tune and you can use the relevant part fo the recording video for the same.
We’re happy that as expected by this stage of the course, Ahi is able to understand the melodic pattern, imitate a tune well and also have a certain amount of control and smoothness in singing. Keep up the good work 🙂
