This will be your first time singing with a track, and though you know the song already, we wanted to check how you will sing with the track. We couldn’t hear it in your recording. So can we request you to practice with it a few times, and then re-do this assignment? Please email it to [email protected]
Remember – that when we sing with a track, we have to keep attention to the music too; adjust your own volume so you can hear yourself as well as the music when you sing 🙂
Here’s some stars for you because you have still sung something today 🙂 ✨✨✨✨✨
Good luck, and look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Hi Adreesh
That’s your first time singing with a track, so well done! Did you enjoy listening to yourself with the music? Here’s some stars for you: ✨✨✨✨✨
Dear Parent,
Singing with a track needs the child to focus and coordinate on various elements and is not at all as easy as it sounds:
1. Matching the rhythm and timing with the track
2. Remembering and pronouncing the lyrics correctly
3. Remembering the tune, when and how the line changes etc.
4. (most importantly) Matching the singing pitch with that of the track
Please see our pointwise feedback below on your child’s performance:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – good*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
*Adreesh has done well on all aspects above but is singing ata. slightly different pitch than the track (point 4). To improve on this, encourage him to listen to the singing in the first few lines then join softly, this will help him develop the ability to ‘hear’ the music correctly and also the ability to reproduce a given pitch (whatever it may be).

Very happy with the overall progress, keep it up!
