Glad to see you are doing your lessons regularly, and hear you again! Please remember to listen when Tootly says Listen.
You’ve tried well but you do need to listen a bit more keenly and try to copy exactly. Keep up the good work and here are some stars FunnyMouth and Tootly have sent for you from the sky so high! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Dear Parent,
Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) sing across a typical vocal range known as one octave and (ii) control their volume and breath as they do so in one go.
Please also see our point-wise feedback below (based on needs work/ good/ excellent):
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – good
Singing/ Pitching – good*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: Good to see that you are correctly singing ‘sky-y’ and not sky and ‘hi-gh’ and not just high 🙂
There are still some minor differences between Esha’s tune and Tootly tune. She just needs to listen keenly and try to copy rather than singing her own tune. You can pause after say half a line if that helps her to recollect better and sing.
Look forward to hearing more from Esha and meeting her soon. Your second live meet can be scheduled once you complete Day 18.
