Glad to see you are doing your lessons regularly, and hear you again! You’ve sung well! Good to see that compared to last time, you are now using a calm, relaxed voice. Keep up the good work and here are some stars FunnyMouth and Tootly have sent for you from the sky so high! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Dear Parent,
Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) sing across a typical vocal range known as one octave and (ii) control their volume and breath as they do so in one go.
Please also see our point-wise feedback below (based on needs work/ good/ excellent):
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – good, needs some work*
Singing/ Pitching – good
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: *We noticed that Parnika is making up her own tune towards the end of the line – this happens becuase she may not remember the full length yet. You can give her shorter bits to listen and repeat.
Also notice how Tootly sings ‘sky-y’ and not sky and ‘hi-gh’ and not just high..listen carefully and try to copy it exactly 🙂 All good otherwise 🙂
Look forward to hearing more from Parnika and meeting her soon. Your second live meet can be scheduled once you complete Day 18.
