Dear Parent,
This song is inspired by the song Doe A Deer from an english movie called Sound of Music. A child singing this song well is a sign that she has befriended the notes now and is able to sing a melody which employs the different exercises she has been learning so far.
From here on you will see how we focus a lot more on the sur and various exercises. These are building a great foundation to learn any song of any language or genre.
Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – good
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – good*
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: Its a tough song and so its great you have learnt the lyrics well and are singing on your own well! *Please listen back to your recording and see if you could have sung it in a calmer / softer voice? Try it that way and see if it sounds better?
