You’re almost midway through your second course and already learning so many new things. Hope you’re having fun too 🙂
You’ve tried well, but you might need to listen to Tootly sing this again and practice a bit more. Please see our notes below.
Dear Parent,
This song is inspired by the song Doe A Deer from an english movie called Sound of Music. A child singing this song well is a sign that she has befriended the notes now and is able to sing a melody which employs the different exercises she has been learning so far.
From here on you will see how we focus a lot more on the sur and various exercises. These are building a great foundation to learn any song of any language or genre.
Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – good, needs some work*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: This is a tough song. Daanvi is not modulating her voice (means, using different high and low notes) but rather than sinign every line in an almost same flat tune. Listen to Tootly again, try it slowly, one phrase at a time. Nothing to worry other but you just need more practice 🙂
It would be great if you can give this a second attempt and email it to [email protected]
