Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) to read the musical notes as they sing along and (ii) sing in a non-linear tune which helps strengthen their sense of pitch now that the basic up and down patterns are well-practised.
Rithviradhya seems to be comfortable with the lyrics and has sung well. Please also see our point-wise feedback below:

Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: Keep practising this exercise – after a few rounds see if you can sing atleast 2 lines by yourself? then try to sing the full song by yourself.
Do play the recording back and check if the tune sounds familiar? (correct answers include: twinkle twinkle, ba ba black sheep, apple-mango-papaya) 🙂
