Dear Parent,
Singing with a track needs the child to focus and coordinate on various elements and is not at all as easy as it sounds:
1. Matching the rhythm and timing with the track
2. Remembering and pronouncing the lyrics correctly
3. Remembering the tune, when and how the line changes etc.
4. (most importantly) Matching the singing pitch with that of the track

Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – good*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
While Ovi started off on her own pitch, she eventually started listening to the music too and was able to sync with the track – which shows that she has developed the ability to ‘hear’ the music correctly and also the ability to reproduce a given pitch (whatever it may be). Very happy with the progress, keep it up!
When singing with a track, remember to keep your volume a bit lower so both you, and the listeners can hear the combined effect of music and voice together. 🙂
