This is excellent work, Tootly is so proud of you! It is indeed a pleasure to hear your two voices in perfect sync every time 🙂
I think you have forgotten to sing caterpillar song this way, can you please do that and email it to [email protected]?
Dear Parent,
You may have noticed how the children are now learning the notes behind the familiar exercise songs. This will help in internalising pitch and musical value of notes. That in turn helps them to sing any combination they may encounter in songs they learn even on their own.
Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent*
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: This is not an easy task – we hope you enjoy and appreciate the musical knowledge Arhi and Arvi is gaining. Knowing the notes also helps us play the song on an instrument – so if you have a keyboard handy, you can now play these songs on the keyboard. Just google for which key is ‘C’ and start playing all the white keys from there! If you don’t have a keyboard – you can try to play here: http://www.musicca.com/piano . Just consider a white key labelled C as your ‘sa’ and ignore the rest of the labelling! Send us a video if you can 🙂
PS: both girls have made the same error, that too in sync 🙂 When singing the second half of the song, they have begun at a slightly lower note (SA) than one where they ended – its probably as they stopped for a few seconds in between, so its ok.
