Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) to read the musical notes as they sing along and (ii) sing in a non-linear tune which helps strengthen their sense of pitch now that the basic up and down patterns are well-practised.
Please also see our point-wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – needs some work
Singing/ Pitching – good, needs some work
Rhythm – good
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – good
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: Learning and singing the tune is as (if not more) important as the ‘lyrics’. It would have been good and easy for Ayansh to simply listen to Tootly and repeat phrase by phrase. Is he resisting that? Do let us know so we can help. It would be good if you can re-do this assignment as above and email it to [email protected]
Additional notes (if any): You can revisit lessons like Mo & MI’s Story (Day 5), Abracadabra (Day 8) or Tootly goes Fishin (Day 12) to help revise the notation reading, if needed.
Look forward to hearing more from Ayansh.
Your previous live meet milestone was on completion of Day 18. We hope you have scheduled and done the same. Please ignore if already completed.
hi Ayansh,
We saw you have also emailed other files. You have done well when sinigng with Tootly, so continue practice that way. You can try to sing on your onw again after a few practices 🙂
PS: please make one continuous recording and upload for ease next time
Dear Ayansh,
Good to hear from you again after a short break! Did you enjoy the magic tricks Tootly and FunnyMouth have taught you! Good to see you reciting all the notes by yourself ut we think you need some practice with the tune part (which is more important). Please see our notes below for practice. Keep up the good work and here are some stars from Magician Tootly for you ✨🎩✨✨🎩
