Youβre almost midway through your second course and already learning so many new things. Hope youβre having fun too π
Do keep listening to this song a few times, so that tune is easy to remember; you have sung well but there are parts where its a bit flat, so listening a few more times will help. Tootly sends some stars for you π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«π«
Dear Parent,
This song is inspired by the song Doe A Deer from an english movie called Sound of Music. A child singing this song well is a sign that she has befriended the notes now and is able to sing a melody which employs the different exercises she has been learning so far.
From here on you will see how we focus a lot more on the sur and various exercises. These are building a great foundation to learn any song of any language or genre.
Please see our point wise feedback below:
Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – good
Singing/ Pitching – good, needs some work
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – good
Notes: It is a tough song and so its natural she was a bit tentative at one or two points. Nothing to worry. We’d suggest a line by line practice with Tootly. You may have noticed that in the assignment video, the child is given the starting note for each line, to help therm pick up the tune at the right note. Please record/ practice with that as a second stage, before recording completely on your own. We’d encourage her to re-do this exercise and email it to us at [email protected]
