Hi Shritha
This is your first time singing with a track, and though you know the song already, we wanted to check how you will sing with the track. We couldn’t hear it in your recording. So can we request you to practice with it a few times, and then re-do this assignment? Please email it to [email protected]
Here’s some stars for you because you have still sung something today 🙂 ✨✨✨✨✨
Hi Shritha
That’s your first time singing with a track, so well done! Did you enjoy listening to yourself with the music? Here’s some stars for you: ✨✨✨✨✨
Dear Parent,
Singing with a track needs the child to focus and coordinate on various elements and is not at all as easy as it sounds:
1. Matching the rhythm and timing with the track
2. Remembering and pronouncing the lyrics correctly
3. Remembering the tune, when and how the line changes etc.
4. (most importantly) Matching the singing pitch with that of the track
Please see our pointwise feedback below on your child’s performance:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Shritha has done particularly well on point 4 above – which shows that she has developed the ability to ‘hear’ the music correctly and also the ability to reproduce a given pitch (whatever it may be). Very happy with the progress, keep it up! Also an additional note for Shritha as she is a mature singer ..listen back to your recording and you will get an idea of the balance between your volume and music volume; use it next time you sing with a track.
