Hi Ekaagra
That’s your first time singing with a track, so well done! Did you enjoy listening to yourself with the music? Here’s some stars for you: ✨✨✨✨✨
Dear Parent,
Singing with a track needs the child to focus and coordinate on various elements and is not at all as easy as it sounds:
1-Matching the rhythm and timing with the track
2-Remembering and pronouncing the lyrics correctly
3-Remembering the tune, when and how the line changes etc.
4-(most importantly) Matching the singing pitch with that of the track
Please see our pointwise feedback below on your child’s performance:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Ekaagra has done particularly well on point 4 above – which shows that he has developed the ability to ‘hear’ the music correctly and also the ability to reproduce a given pitch (whatever it may be). Very happy with the progress, keep it up!
For future reference, you can reduce the volume of the track so that it is ‘supporting’ – this will ensure that Ekaagra can also hear himself as he sings.
