Hi Khushank
That’s your first time singing with a track, so well done! Did you enjoy listening to yourself with the music? Here’s some stars for you: ✨✨✨✨✨
Dear Parent,
Singing with a track needs the child to focus and coordinate on various elements and is not at all as easy as it sounds:
– Matching the rhythm and timing with the track
– Remembering and pronouncing the lyrics correctly
– Remembering the tune, when and how the line changes etc.
– (most importantly) Matching the singing pitch with that of the track
Please see our pointwise feedback below on your child’s performance:
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent***
Rhythm – excellent
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Khushank has done particularly well on point 4 above! He actually switched seamlessly to a lower octave as the melody went higher, to be able to sing well. That he did this intuitively is amazing,a nd shows he has internalised pitch so well. This shows that he has developed the ability to ‘hear’ the music correctly and also the ability to reproduce a given pitch (whatever it may be). Very happy with the progress, keep it up!
