I’m so happy that you are on your way to completing the first course. Great job with starting a new hobby that you will hopefully continue to enjoy and nurture. I see you’ve sung very well! Keep up the good work and here are mountains that Tootly sends for you! 🏔️🏔️🏔️

Dear Parent,
This vocal exercise is part of the set that all students of classical music learn. Once the first stage of expanding the voice range, getting stability while singing, and being able to sing with ease in different directions is achieved, students move on to exercises created by jumping notes like these. Think of them like training exercises for their voices.
In this particular song, we are checking a few things: if students can jump and land correctly. Just like coming down a slope, the downward pattern is even more difficult and tests if the students have begun to create mind-maps of the notes.
Prapti has sung this correctly and well. Please also see our point-wise feedback below (based on needs work/ good/ excellent):
Confidence and Independence – excellent
Understanding of the concept or exercise – excellent
Singing/ Pitching – excellent
Rhythm – good
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent
Notes: This is one of the tougher exercises, and being able to sing it independently (without the lead-follow from Tootly video) is a great sign that some genuine learning has happened over the last few months. Keep it up!
Hope you enjoy the last few lessons of Course 1. Please check details of Course 2 at https://www.tootly.in/courses which will help you take the momentum forward.
