Through this exercise, the child learns to (i) sing across a typical vocal range known as one octave and (ii) control their volume and breath as they do so in one go.
Viaan has done well on the first aspect above. We’d encourage him to sing much slower and focussing on each word as he goes, to get better at the second aspect.
