Dear student,

Welcome to the course and so glad to see your first recording here! Did you have fun making funny faces with FunnyMouth? I see you’ve sung quite well! Keep up the good work and here are some stars FunnyMouth and Tootly have sent for you ✨✨✨✨✨

Dear Parent,
Welcome to the course. We hope your child is enjoying the learning process and is getting comfortable with the Tootly user interface. Please feel free to ask us any questions in this regard. We’ll do what we can to ensure you are able to continue smoothly.

This first exercise is to help kids free up their voices, become conscious to their ‘singing’ (vs talking, shouting) voice and understand the listen-sing mode of learning. Please see our point-wise feedback below:

Confidence and Independence – good
Understanding of the concept or exercise – good
Pitching – good, needs some work
Rhythm – not applicable for this exercise
Overall control (volume, breath etc) – excellent
Pronunciation/ recollection of lyrics – excellent

Note:
(1) When you are submitting the assignment, please use the ‘recording’ lesson – where there is space given for the child to listen then sing AFTER, NOT WITH. This not only helps in singing better but also inculcating the habit of copying the melody, which will helpful as we go along.

(2) In every lesson that needs a recording to be done, you can scroll down and click on the RECORD button there. Scroll up and continue listening and signing with the video as usual. Once down, click STOP recording and download your file with just 1 click. On the submission page, you can attach the relevant file to continue. This way you don’t need a second device for recording. Hope this helps.

(3) Please can you try to re-do this assignment when convenient? You have a wonderful voice and we’d like to hear it clearly. Please email the file to [email protected].

Look forward to meeting you soon. Please look for the email notif about a teacher meet once the child finishes Day 5.
